Have you ever been left in the wake of a destructive person who seems in every way unlovable? What about that boss whose sole purpose is seemingly to make your life miserable? You might even have a family member in mind or a neighbor who exists just to aggravate you. In those instances, it may seem unlikely, if not impossible, to love such people. Yet, that's exactly what Jesus calls us to do; that's exactly what Jesus did for us. We were all unlovable at one time. We were all enemies of God.
